VOLUNTEER

Nominee – Presenter of the Year – CAPACOA
(Canadian Arts Presenting Association)
Volunteer

Volunteers at the Centre play an invaluable role whether they are providing tours to visitors of the Centre, supporting events, assisting at performances and art programs, helping in our cafe or participating as board or committee members.

Volunteering is an excellent and rewarding way to contribute to your community, stay active, meet people, learn more about the arts, use your skills, pursue your interests, fulfill your edcuational requirement and much more.

Our volunteers include men and women from all walks of life and all age groups – professionals, homemakers, students (minimum age 14), retirees, etc.

Our volunteer assignments have various time commitments that fit every lifestyle – weekly, monthly, occasionally, etc.

Our screening process for volunteers includes a personal interview with the Coordinator, Vounteer Services, two reference checks and a police record check. Prior to starting your assignment you will be given an orientation to the Centre as well as on the job training to your specific assignment.

If you would like further information or are interested in taking the next step toward volunteering at the Centre, please contact Marsha Slack, Coordinator, Volunteer Services at
