Biography and CV
On an ocean side vacation many years ago I brought along my camera to capture the rich colour of Caribbean skies and water. I returned home a week later, eagerly anticipating the results, only to discover that my camera shutter had been glued shut from the island’s wind swept sticky salt. Alas, not a picture! Nothing! With that inauspicious start I decided to do better and the years since have been filled with creativity, enjoyment and artistic growth.
I am a Toronto based photographic artist. I show and sell my work at a wide variety of venues and galleries throughout central and southern Ontario and am a frequent participant in the annual Toronto CONTACT Photography Festival. My formal training was received at Ryerson University, where I graduated from that school’s Still Photography Studies program. Recent showings include:
